About Me

My name is Dillon Taylor, English Language Development Teacher at Rice Elementary. My role is to help support students with their academic language and advance in their abilities to use English. This will be my second year at Rice and I love the community here! I received my Bachelor's of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado and graduated in December of 2021. Go Bears! I studied Elementary Education and have an endorsement in Cultural Linguistic/Bilingual Education. I am always ready to push students to take the leap towards being the best version of themselves they can possibly be. I have truly seen how high they can go when not only their teacher believes in them, but when they believe in themselves as well.

I currently live in Fort Collins and grew up in Brighton/Commerce City, so Colorado has always been home to me. I also learned Spanish as a second language in high school and college; I am thankful for every opportunity I get to speak Spanish with others. When I am not at school I enjoy watching movies, going on walks, and (most recently) going to the gym!
