After growing up in New York & finishing my Bachelors Degree at Stony Brook University, I moved out to beautiful Northern Colorado. I volunteered through AmeriCorps at Rocky Mountain High School here in PSD working with youth on reengagement. From that expereince I realized the joy of working with youth and continued my educational journey by getting my Masters in Special Education at the University of Northern Colorado (Go Bears!). During that time I continued to work as a Para-professional at Blevins Middle School. I am lucky to now be part of the Rice Community where I get to watch these amazing kids Soar each day! One of my main interest is in athletics & connecting students to sports to build teamwork skills & self-confidence. I have participted in Special Olympics, as well Coached Unified Basketball here in Poudre School District. In my free-time I enjoy playing tennis, going to see live music and spending time with friends & family.
