I am an Early Childhood Paraprofessional in Miss Cindy's Preschool/Pre-K/Headstart class with Miss Stacey!
I attended Front Range Community College and have obtained an Associates of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education along with an Associates of Arts in Early Childhood Education for transfer.
What I love most about working at Rice Elementary:
I enjoy their enthusiasm to learn and the funny things they say! I look forward to seeing that light bulb go off in their minds when they make a connection and figure something out! I also love that every day is a new day and that there is never a dull moment.
Favorite Children’s Book/Author:
This is such a hard question! There are so many wonderful children’s books. I would have to say “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss. It is fun to read and the kids just get a kick out of the funny words, the cadence of the words, and the teacher making funny faces while reading this story.
I was born in Anchorage, Alaska but moved away soon after I was born. I grew up in Southeast Alaska. We moved around quite a bit but mostly lived in the towns of Sitka, Ketchikan, and Klawock, Alaska.
Anything with my family! We like to go to fairs/festivals, go to the movies, going to parks, taking our corgi dogs for walks, going for bike rides, watching movies, or going for drives around NoCo, to name a few!
A little more about me:
My husband Craig and I have two children, Sophia and Isaac. We also have a corgi dog. We live here in Wellington and just love that we are so close to our school!
