Hello, I'm Marissa Lehnerz, and I'm excited to be joining Rice Elementary this year. Previously, I taught 5th grade at Kruse Elementary in Fort Collins. I hold a Dual Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and History as well as a Master's in Education, both from Colorado State University. Before earning my master's, I spent two years teaching at English immersion academies in South Korea . I love teaching 5th grade because it’s such an exciting transitional year, where students are full of curiosity, gaining independence, and learning the importance of kindness.
