English Language Development

English Language Development (ELD) services at Rice support English Language Learners (ELLs) as they learn academic content and become proficient in classroom and everyday English.  The ELD teacher, supports students in their classrooms as well as in small groups.  Strategies are focused on developing English in the four domains of language: listening, speaking, reading, and writing while students learn grade level content.
