My name is Sarah Mickschl, I am excited to be teaching fifth-grade this year!  I attended Lake Forest College in Chicago for my undergraduate and came back to Colorado for my Master’s at CU. I have always enjoyed working with children and have a passion for developing a love learning within each student. My teaching philosophy is centered on providing a well-balanced, supportive, and engaging learning environment enabling students to reach their highest potential.  I look forward to a wonderful year at Rice as we help our students SOAR together!  

I’m a Colorado native and love being in the outdoors! I enjoy hiking, skiing and rock climbing and can't wait to explore Northern Colorado!
