About Me

Hello families,

My name is Jacob Layton and this will be my 7th year of teaching. I'm originally from Indiana, but I have taught in New Orleans, San Antonio, Lafayette (IN), and now here at my new home in Rice. I look forward to making learning come alive, connecting families, and cultivating a community where all stakeholders feel empowered to be their best!

I'm super passionate about SPORTS! I love, love, love playing basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, etc. Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and Blue Lock are some of my favorite animes. Finally, you'll probably see me around town biking my 1 year old daughter from park to park.
