Hello!
My name is Morgan Smith and I was born and raised in Fort Collins, Colorado, where I was a Tavelli Tiger, Lincoln Lancer, and graduated as an Impala from Poudre High School. I graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2022 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a concentration in Creative Arts. Go Pokes! In December of 2024, I graduated with my master's degree in Educational Psychology with Teaching Applications at the University of Northern Colorado. Over the past three years, I've had the privilege of teaching 4th and 5th grade at Rice.
I believe that every student can be a leader. At Rice, we emphasize the importance of showing SOAR and by fostering these values, we create an environment where all students can take initiative, collaborate with their peers, and develop the confidence to achieve their goals. Together, we ensure that everyone has the opportunity to shine.
In my free time, I enjoy coaching and running long-distance, traveling, reading, and adventuring outside with my friends and family. I love being part of the Rice community and I am looking forward to a great year in 4th grade!
